SEASIDE LUXURY AT THE AZAMARE GUEST HOUSE

After an exciting week-long Safari in northern South Africa followed by a week in Cape Town we decided to end our trip with some rest and relaxation in Cape Town's beach side  suburb, Camps Bay.

The palm-tree lined promenade is full of restaurants, shops, and rows of  stunning cliffside mansions and vacation homes. Opposite the promenade is Camps Bay beach, a white sand beach perfect for all day lounging. It offers breathtaking views of the famous Twelve Apostles mountain range (it got its name because the mountain range has twelve peaks) and Table Mountain.

We stayed at the Azamare Guest House, located just minutes away from the main promenade it is made up of 7 luxury suites, a lounge area, kitchen, terrace, swimming pool, and jacuzzi. We were lucky enough to be the only guests staying there at the time so we had the amenities to ourselves. They offer a complimentary breakfast which we ate on the terrace overlooking the water ( what a view! )  They also offer complimentary wine and snacks in the evening.

We made dinner reservations at the Azure restaurant at the Twelve Apostles Hotel which offers fine dining with incredible views. Other restaurants in the area include The Godfather (seafood), Del Mar (mexican), and the Hussar Grill (steakhouse).

Camps Bay was the perfect spot to unwind after a busy first 2 weeks and the memorable accommodation and ocean views at the Azamare Guest House are one of a kind.
