ROME AFTER DARK

It was our third day in Rome we still had a list of places we hadn't gotten around to visiting yet. Luckily one of the many amazing restaurants we ate at happened to be within walking distance of many of the sights we planned on visiting while in the city. Although sightseeing during the day is the more popular choice there was something magical about Rome after dark. The fountains were beautifully lit and the main tourist attractions were not as crowded.

We started off the evening by eating a delicious meal at Osteria Del Sostegno. I had the Tagliolini al Tartufo Nero ( Black Truffle Pasta ) which I highly recommend if you love truffles. After dinner we headed over to the Pantheon and from there, Trevi Fountain. On our walk back to our Airbnb in Trastevere we passed the Altar della Patria also known as the wedding cake building.
